How it started

Goldfields Cycle Sports inc was created with the aim of  giving back to the Central Victorian Cycling Community, by retired professional cyclist Ross Forster. The Club intends to help fund resources for the Central Victorian race, recreational and commuter cycling communities, including youth development, promotion and talent identification  

 Café Velo was opened on the 23rd of August 2018 in the  Iconic City Family Hotel building, in conjunction with the opening of the Goldfields Cycle Sports Club.

HERBIE'S CAFE BAR & LOUNGE

We offer a variety of seating areas, you can sink into our big comfy lounges with a coffee and a book, or enjoy the sun in our lovely shaded alfresco with views of the Bendigo CBD.   We offer light meals, snacks and beverages,  amongst an eclectic mix of Cycling Memorabilia.
