And if you or anyone you know needs support, Lifeline's 24 hour crisis support number is 13 11 14 and text chat service is available at www.lifeline.org.au/crisis-chat/ All services are confidential.

A group of passionate, community minded cyclists have teamed up with local charities; The OTIS Foundation and Bendigo Health to bring together the Bendigo Cycling Classic.
This cycling event has been developed to support these two local charities, harness the power of the community and create a FUN, healthy event for locals and visitors alike.
The Goldfields Cycle Sports Club were 1st time sponsors in 2022 and look forward to continuing to assist the BCC in the years to come.
The Bendigo Cycling Classic 'Gravel ride' took place on Saturday 19th March and the 'Classic rides' on Sunday 20th March 2022.
Goldfields Cycle Sports Club sponsored $5,000 for a CVVCC aggregate which will be decided on a points system over the year in a similar fashion to their existing aggregates.
The principal difference with this aggregate, apart from the size of the prize pool, is that each entrant will receive two points rather than one.
The idea behind this is to encourage members to race on a regular basis and hopefully participate in the prize money at the end of the year.
The money will be distributed among the top ten place getters from $1500 for first down to $50 for tenth.
The Goldfields town of Maldon in Central Victoria hosted the 2nd running of the Maldon Classic on the 5th & 6th of March 2022, and it couldn’t have been in a better location as this beautiful little town retains many of its original buildings from the gold rush era. The Classic is organised by a group of local bike enthusiasts associated with the Murray to Moyne Cycling Team raising funds for Maldon Hospital and is a celebration of classic steel bikes with a bike show on the Saturday and a ride on the Sunday. GCS were 1st time sponsors and will likely be again for the biannual event in 2024.
